Description

Tales of Bogles and Brownies is a follow-on from that volume of short stories, A Cantraip of Tales. It explores those happenings that cannot be explained by any logical process and perhaps dismissed with ‘I must have been mistaken’ or some such expression. If you take the trouble to recall and list such happenings, it starts you wondering if there is another world out there, another dimension, and just occasionally you accidently stray over that unmarked line. These tales, then, recount some such strayings.

The title of this book hints that I delve into the worlds of ghosts and spirits; more than that, though, for they involve happenings that cannot be explained through our logic; it is above natural explanation; it is supernatural.

Kennedy Smith (Dr A.C.K. Smith) lives in Falkirk in Central Scotland where he pursues his interests in boats, music and conjuring. He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and has published books in Applied Chemistry, Magic and a History of Falkirk Tryst Orchestra. He recently ventured into fiction with A Cantraip of Tales, his book of short stories of the unusual and unexplained.
