The IRA and the KGB plan to kill a senior British General during his visit to West Berlin. Cooperation between London and Moscow foils the conspiracy. A new plot emerges: the assasination of a member of the family at the heart of the British establishment.
The murder is to honour a family promise made in 1953 in the grounds of a Berlin church.
