Description

Product Description

Just how far would the UK government go to prevent the break-up of the UK? How would Scotland react? State of Emergency is a political thriller set in Scotland at some point in the future.

***

Richard Drysdale was active in the 2014 referendum and drew his inspiration from that unique time in Scotland’s history to write this work of imagination.

Richard’s early influences came from the West of Scotland in the days when unionism prevailed strongly. He is a historian, teacher, traveller and biker. Over the years his deep-seated loyalty to Scotland motivated him to look more deeply into the politics which have shaped the country. He is now a Fifer.
